Hi.

I'm basically ordering a netgear desktop 8 port switch to connect 6 computers up to the net.
I need 4 10 metre cables to connect the computer to the switch and was wondering if this is the right cable.
I think it probably is the right cable but i'd like to be sure before i start ordering 5 cabes and a swich lol.

yes but if your running long cables or under floors I would suggest solid CAT5, it doesn't bend as much but its a bit more hard wearing, nothing worse than running a long cable then having some idiot snap it.

Also, on a word of note, tell any work guys that drilling holes in CAT5 destroys it..... idiots.
