Networking and Vista

This might be a stupid question and the fix is probably very simple. But I just can't get it to work. I have 2 computers running Vista. I have them on a network and everything worked fine until one computer crashed and I had to reinstall Vista. Now Computer 1 see's Computer 2 but I can't open any files. I have set all the permissions I can find to set. I can access the media files but nothing else. Computer 2 see's Computer 1 and I can access all files I have set to share. How come Computer 2 won't let me access from computer 1?
I do have Norton Internet Security 2007 on both computer and set to allow them to access each other.

Any ideas?
 
Are you sure the permissions are set correctly?

Try disabling norton for the time being.
 
I disabled Norton and I rechecked all the permissions (they are set the same on both computer) and I still can't access Computer 2 from Computer 1. It's very frustrating and I know it has to be something really stupid.
