Hello,

I have a PC, and my sister just bought an IMac.
Now I was trying to set up a "home network" between me and my sis. I didn't change anything on my Vista machine as there was a home network already in place (which she can still access from her laptop).
I am just trying to access my files and folders from the IMac and I can't figure it out (I don't know anything about Macs).

Could someone enlighten me please?

Thanks.

Go with that first and then some more information on your setup... wireless wired type of networking equipment

Give that a shot and come back here if it doesn't answer your issues.

Granted, the title is a little misleading, but his post plainly states that he's having issues sharing files between the two computers, not issues connecting to the internet or network.

Give this a shot.

A few days after I upgraded to OSX 10.5, I was having some major problems connecting to another computer running Vista. Wish guides had been around then.
