Could anyone help provide a list of BD players that allows you to browse netflix from your TV instead of managing your instant que from a computer?

My parents have an Insignia that has this feature but the model is no longer sold.

I use a LG BD570 and BD590. Easy to setup to my secure network and easy menu for features.

I didn't know that you could on any BR player until this thread.. Kind of a neat feature though in case you don't have a computer, then again you probably don't have the internet if thats the case..

netflix might have a list on their website. otherwise, just look at their specs online. I don't think anybody here has an exhaustive list more readily available than you do.

Do any Blu-ray players also function as a network media player? I was going to get one of the Viewsonic VMP75, but at $100, it might be worth spending a little more and getting a used PS3. They go for about $150.

I know my parents BD570 is capable of connecting to a PC and playing media files over the network. I haven't tried out this function very much (only tried one or two files) so I can't comment on its codec support, but the gui stinks.

My girlfriend has the same Blu-ray player, and except for a crappy interface, it works exceptionally well. She is able to stream 720p MKVs from a Samba share just fine. I haven't tried 1080p yet, so I don't know how well it handles that.
