Netevent.dll Error causing slow boot up.

I am running WIn XP Pro 64 bit, and it seems my nvidia drivers are causing a system error upon bootup, and it hangs my system for around 30-45 seconds before my taskbar shows up. I am running the 64 bit version of Nvidia's 93.71 driver. Here is the info from event viewer.

Any suggestions would be apprecaited.

Edit: I have done a search for netevent.dll and it is in the system32 folder and the sysWOW64 folder. I copied it into the Windows folder and the system folder, but that didn't solve anything.

have you tried a driver reinstall / update (to newer ones) ?

The proposed solution was:

try this:-

Start > Run > type "sfc /scannow" (without the quote marks)
Have your WinXP disk ready to put in. All system files will be scanned
and replaced if missing or the wrong version.

As far as I can tell those are the newest drivers available from Nvidia. I do however have Ntune installed, think that might be an issue?

I just built this computer monday, so it is a fresh install of Windows. Do you think I should still try that? I suppose it couldn't hurt.

Check the modified time on that .dll - and the version info from the file properties -> summary.

Perhaps the nvidia driver installation modified that file?

Thanks for the help guys, it looks like we got it fixed.

I reinstalled my video drivers and my nforce drivers.

The one thing that I did differently, from when I installed these drivers the other day was this time I let the Nforce drivers install Nvidia's Network Access Manager. I didn't before because I didn't think I would need it, but since the name of the file was NETevent.dll I thought maybe nvidia was looking for it and not finding it.
