I am looking for the cheapest reasonable netbook that is not over $250 and I want to be able to ship it overseas. I went to the post office to find out the shipping cost to mail it from the US to the Caribbean and they asked me if it will have a battery. I said yes, they said due to new laws, anything with a battery cannot be shipped. Does anyone know if this is true and know anywhere around this. I was thinking of purchasing from some website that delivers worldwide. I really need your help, for my friend that needs a netbook for school. Thanks in advanced.
 
i'm not sure about the shipping of battery's overseas, but i'm selling a asus 1000he for $250+shipping or thinkpad x41 for $150 shipped.
