Which netbooks have e-sata? I need to be able to connect my main computer HD to the netbook. USB is too slow.

www.interfacelift.com has a ton of desktop wallpapers at different sizes.
The thing that you're looking for is what a certian rez looks like.

No matter what the screen size is 1280x800 (just a example rez) will look the same on a 10" screen as it does on a 14" screen. However it will look bigger on a larger screen.

The best thing I can suggest is to goto your local electronics store and find out what each laptop/netbook looks like with the apps that you'd run look like in person. There is no better way i know of to get a idea of how it will look then that.

Thanks, I will do that. I have another question and that is, which netbooks have e-stata ports? I'd like to buy an 11-12" netbook with an esata port but have only found the HP Mini 1000, which is 10".

Sadly that's a feature that's rare in netbooks. I'm sure when newer models come out it will be a feature that you'll see more often.

What exactly are you looking to do with it?

Ok I just saw that you edited your first post with a completely different question then what was origanally asked. Please don't do that 3days after you post a thread, its one thing to do it 3 minutes after posting a thread... just add a post to the thread ;)

Anyway ill try to ask a more direct question... what are your intended uses for the netbook? And so far I think that a small notebook may be a better fit for you unless you just need something really small?

maybe you can get a netbook with an expresscard slot, then get an esata to expresscard device.
