So I need a crash course on NetApp, i already have the Data ONTAP simulator installed on vSphere 6 host:

http://www.virtualtothecore.com/en/...ntap-simulator-8-3-rc1-for-a-vsphere-cluster/

to play with but wanted to know if anyone here has any good sites / forums for information relating to Netapp outside of their community forums, as i am already diving in head first into there..

I am also going over the NetApp Certified Storage Associate (NCSA) NS0-145:

Any help is appreciated.

Not a whole lot out there in regards to training that isn't protected. Training is a revenue stream for Netapp, after all. You could try some of those PDF aggregators like scribd, sometimes training docs make it up there. If you have a specific question ask here, someone will answer it for sure. Netapp can be as simple or complex as you want it to be, it all depends on what you try to do with it. Basic things like, NFS or block storage for ESXi datastores are pretty easy. It's not my favorite platform, but it does work pretty well in most use cases.

Good to know, seems CBT was the only one that had the training course and that was it. They got the market locked down as you said i guess.

Was just trying to get into it for a possible contract job so i wanted to learn more about it.
