how can one send mp3s via the USB cable? i use a program that came with it called SonicStage.. whenever i transfer an MP3 i get a message related to copyright

You can check out the MiniDisc gurus over at the MD T-Board. You should probably search there before you post the question though, they get kinda picky about topics being repeated over and over again.

Unfortunately, I do not use MP3s or have SonicStage, I only record via Optical-In transfers.
