Nested ESXi 6 (Beta)?

A warning for anyone looking to run a nested ESXi setup with the vSphere 6 beta:

The default settings for the Guest OS type of "VMWare ESXi 6.x" are set too low. Bump up the CPU and RAM, and it will discover the NIC just fine.
If you set the "Guest OS" to ESXi 6.x, you cannot install ESXi 6. It limits your adapter type to E1000E, which is not supported by ESXi 6.

It doesn't look to work with the VMXNET 3 NIC adapter type either. (I tried installing with the "Guest OS" set to RHEL7) Fiddling around now to see if nested ESXi is even available any more.

Edit: E1000 isn't supported either.
Edit2: Neither is VMXNET 2 (Enhanced). It just plain looks like you can't run a nested ESXi scenario anymore.

Found a thread which suggests that ESXi 6.x has a minimum RAM requirement of 3GB which would cause this issue. Sure enough, I was using the default value of 2GB. Giving 4GB a shot now to see if it fixed the issue.

edit: Yup, that was it. The Guest OS type of "VMWare ESXi 6.x" has incorrect default RAM settings. Bump it up and it works.
edit2: It also has the default number of CPU cores set to 1, which is too few for ESXi to install on.

^ Exactly, I had mine each host set to 8GB so I never noticed this.

If you need to install at 4GB, then reduce later.
