Nero messed up my OS

So, I installed Nero 7 and now whenever I open a folder with videos and the previews are shown I get an error for every file in the folder. I get an error bo that says
Nero
This program requires a file, advrntcr2.dll which was not found

Why oh why does this file mess everything up?

Can you uninstall nero and see if the error goes away?

Download and use the Nero 7 Clean tool

That should correct any residual problems
