neopower or modstream

Simply put, I need a new psu for the system in my sig and the Antec neopower 480 and the OCZ modstream 450 are my two top choices. The neopower sounds like the best psu for the job, but if I were to buy it, I would have to borrow cash from my parents and wait a couple days to get to the bank; and even if I made the rebate, I would probably be too lazy to send it in so it would end up costing about 20-25 more than the modstream. I can buy the modstream pretty much right away, and I cant go much longer without my computer. Is the antec really that much better? Also, how much can my system benefit from dual 12 volt rails as opposed to a single 26a 12 volt?

26A is a little low on the 12V. I would say go with the NeoPower, I have it and it can hold its own, plus its really quiet, I don't even hear it. It's really worth it to drop the extra $20-$25 on the NeoPower, especially if you're using it to power a power hungry system ;)

I am going to have to go the other way on this one. AGP videocard....so no real monsterous 12v draw upgrades in your future with that mobo. So either or on the PSU. Since it is such a hassle I would get the ModStream unless you plan to upgrade mob/videocard soon. The Modstream is a good PSU that exhibits 2% line regulation so long as you avoid a monsterous 5v draw.

The Modstream can handle anything you throw at it besides SLI (see my sig) but it gets REALLY REALLY REALLY HOT. Personally, that doesn't make me feel too comfortable, which is why I'm ditching mine as soon as I get enough money, the Neopower is much more futureproof.
