Has anyone here made any custom cables for the Antec NeoPower? If you did, did you just canibalize the extras that you got with the PSU or did your order new wires and connectors from someplace? I will go ahead and sleeve them to clean them up.

I will probably be making the following.
2x SATA (shorter then the one supplied)
1x Molex for a 12V Water Pump
2x SATA (Probably reuse the one supplied with the PSU)
And maybe change the length of the Fan cable.

I thought I had heard that Antec was going to make the connectors availabe but I can not rember.
 
I have something to add to this questian. are there two PCI exspress video card adapters? Can I run SLI with this PSU?
 
My PSU only came with a cable that had 1 PCIe Videocard connector. I did not need it because I am running a 6800nu, and it does not have an aux power connector. I am sure you can find a Y cable or add a second connector if you wanted.
 
Doesnt the PCI Express Videocards come with a Converter that converts a molex to a PCI Express Power Connecter anyways? :D

Hey folks, sorry for rezzing an older thread, but I didn't think this needed a whole new thread on it own.

We've just made the various cables on the NeoPower available on our website (as of Friday).

Thanks, I actually noticed it yesterday and I was going to make a comment. Now I just need you guys to just sell me all the connectors in one big bag without the cables. :D

Am I to assume the individual cables are the same as the ones that came with the PSU but you can just get them in singles now?

I guess I want them more custom then most people.
 
Yes the single cables are the same. I haven't seen any alternative cables yet (ie different lengths, with uv sleeving etc).

Initially because we decided to add the extra Molex/Sata connectors. We thought that people might get annoyed by having to cut the sleeving to add the connectors.

How 'bout you guys at Antec make the motherboard power cable a 20+4 pin connector. Sliding off the extra 4 pins would make it a lot easier than using that bulky 24-20 pin adapter.
