Nehalem = no SLI possible

Good, I remember reading in the past that Intel was threatening Nvidia with this.
Perhaps now Nvidia will realize how important the Intel proc's are to their business in the mobo market. Eventually they'll cave and open SLi to more chipsets.

Good news in my opinion.

Well there's still SLI-on-a-stick cards, like the 9800 GX2, which work perfectly fine on Nehalem rigs. And I assume CrossFire would probably work as well, since Intel apparently loves AMD-ATI more than NV these days :rolleyes:.
 
Umm...everything that ive read regarding QPI says that nvidia doesnt have a license for it, but for the quad pump P4 based FSB. Without that, intel is just refusing to let nvidia play on their turf. And seriously, I really dont mind. X58 or P55 would be my bet anyway. I like nvidias GPUs, but the chipsets are far more confusing than intel's.
