Needing Micro ATX Cooling Solution

After my previous post concerning cooling solutions for a MicroAXT Gigabyte EG43M-S2H. I have somewhat narrowed down my choices to the two coolers listed below. They both meet the height requirements and have retention screw mounting hardware. After measuring the motherboard I have 4 1/2" from the Northbridge heatsink to the edge of the mobo. I am still uncertain if each cooler will clear the components on the mobo. The Masscool 8WA741 has a smaller footprint but I don't know if there is enough height from the chip to the bottom heatsink fins. The ASUS V60 has a larger footprint and seems to have the height from the chip to bottom heatsink fins, but I an worried the heatpipes will interfere with the Northbridge heatsink. If anyone has experience with these two heatsinks or the Gigabyte EG43M-S2H board I would like to hear them. I am also open to other suggestions.

you can always get both and try them and return whichever one you dont want. its a very easy process with newegg.

When talking about micro ATX, you would be better served matching a processor heatsink to the case you are using in lieu of the motherboard. Both coolers you listed willl be fine on the motherboard and cool adequately at stock speeds.

Swing by the small form factor area on this board as you may find the case you are using.

I will have to check out small form factor area of the board. I put the case and components together tonight and I believe I will have enough clearance around the components. But I only have be 6 1/4" of height to work with. Thus I would like to keep it under 6" so I don't have any surprises. Most popular heatsinks I have considered puts me near the 6 1/4" max height allowance.
