Need ZFS with Private Cloud Web interface for users

Hello

Its been awhile since i've tapped the Hardforum for info...lol I've been following though and it looks like it has definitely grown. ZFS seems to be a hot topic now. My advice for anyone thinking about building a ZFS system is to do it. I built our first 24TB system over a year ago, and its still running like a champ. Not one single problem. Knock on wood..lol Thanks goes to everyone who helped me on this forum. Special thanks to Gea and his Napp-it web based interface. It makes this process so much easier. Ok enough reminiscing...lol

I have a new project i need some help on. I'm going to be building another ZFS system that i would like to use as a private cloud storage platform for our company (multiple sites). So i guess i need something that can sit on top of the ZFS storage. Would like the following features:

1. Web interface for Admin, that delegates permissions, space allocation (based on user), transfer monitoring, etc
2. Web interface for Users, that shows their folder, total/used space, transfer stats, Upload/download, search, etc


Ive looked at a few options out there, but they all seem to be geared towards virtualization, rather than a storage interface (openstack, etc). Would prefer opensource, but willing to pay for these functions. Any help is appreciated.
 
I've been starting to play with CrushFTP recently, it might be worth looking into for your needs. Its not free but is only $100 for an unlimited connection license.
 
I don't know why this is in this sub forum but look at Virtualmin. Whatever storage you use is up to you. All my Virtualmin user's (customers, essentially) have home directories being served via NFS

edit: A best practice for ZFS is to create new homedirs on individual filesystems. I remember some crafty user's on the Virtualmin forums have figured out how to preface the process of user creation with "ZFS create tank/homedirs/newcustomer". Google it
