Need your thoughts

I am about to build myself a custom case and I need to decide if it will be all acrilyc or acrilyc with an aluminum base.

I was thinking a 3mm aluminum base and the rest 5mm think acrilyc.

Or should I just do the whole case of acrilyc? This will be a desktop instead of a tower. I am about to order the parts so I can measure them to make the case as small as possible.

You'll see pics, nothing very impressive (will be my first try at a full case).

id have the base metal, just because itd avoid grounding problems, itd look cool, and itd be more stable. youd probabily be fine wtih solid acrylic all around but IMO metal base is best

also 5mm acrylic is HUGE, how are you gonna cut that stuff cleanly?

I wish I had a CNC

I am not sure about how I will be cutting it. I am going to see what I can do.

Since its my first real mod, I don't expect it to be perfect. But I'll try my best

I would reccommend using a metal frame as well, not only because it will ground the thing, but also because it will make your case stronger and will probably be easier to assemble as well.
