repairing a friends computer and discovered a bad power supply. Replaced the old PS with a thermaltake 480watt. Boots to windows now but bsod every time. It is an old pc with a asus a7n266 with a duron cpu. Any suggestions? Reinstall windows?

well that would be a start, if you can take the parts and test them individually especially the ram. You might wanna run memtest before formatting, cause if the psu got fried then it could have taken other stuff with it. Go one by one to eliminate possible culprits even switching cpu's and mb's. If you don't do that then you cant really be sure what the hell is causing the problem.
