need video card for 2 systems unput needed

Hi guys,

I have right now 2 systems that needs video cards.

1. p4 3.4 925x chipset system need pci-e video card
2. amd 3200+ 754pin needs agp card

They had really old ati 8500 video cards and I am going to get some money back from irs so I can get some card

the budget is $200 to $300 per card. I have been looking at 3 cards

1. 6600GT
they come in agp or pci-e and they seem to have good performance

2. 800xl
they are suppose to be pretty good card, better than 6800gt sometimes but they lack 3.0 shadder? I want my cards to be really future proof.

3. 6800NU
these can sometimes be unlocked at run at 6800gt speed. However I am really concerned about these cards and video playback problem. I've read alot of posts about this in past and I don't know if this will be fixed. My family alot of video on both machines and I want good video playback.


So what doyou think guys? even thought 6600GT is little slower. It 3.0 shadder and good video playback. It's will be also cheaper too... Perhaps allowing me get other stuff.
