I'm looking to replace my pen drive and would appreciate any feedback on good or bad experiences with various models that people have had. Right now I have a 1G Lexar Jumpdrive Sport and it is starting to flake out on me. I think something may have gotten broken inside since the usb connector is getting loose and wiggles around a bit more than it should and it's starting to not get recognized when plugged into a PC. I get the "USB device is malfunctioning' error when I plug it in.

I was looking at the 2G Corsair Flash Voyager but I have some concerns about the cap getting lost or falling off and its durability. I just want something that isn't easily broken and stays attached to my keychain without losing parts off itself and is reliable. Decent speed would be nice, but it does not have to be the absolute fastest model out there.

My sister got me a 1GB CompUSA brand for christmas. The thing is really slender and tiny. FAR smaller than the 512MB Lexar JumpDrive I have.

Comes with a tether so you can carry it around your neck.

My only gripe is the cap doesn't fit on the end of the stick when in use like my Lexar does. I have to keep track of the cap when it's in the computer.

Send the Lexar Sport back in...they have a two year warranty on them.
