Building a shuttle system with agp 4X capabilities. What generation of cards are compatible with 4X? And what's the difference between 2X, 4X, and 8X?? Please list the generation of cards in terms of highest X possibilities.
 
Pretty much all current generation cards are 4x compatible even though they are listed as 8x. I only have a 4x slot (Asus P4PE) and my 5900NU works fine in it.
