A recent scare of dirty power to my system has urged me to looking to UPS.

My current system is
I7 930 2.8ghz
12 gig ram
windows 7 ultimate x64
2 GTX 460
1 intel x25 80gig HD
4 Western Digital Green 2TB
1 Western Digital Green 1TB

My power supply is: Corsair AX850

I'd like to connect the following to the UPS.

My computer + 24inch LCD, 40inch LCD, 300 watt stereo system and a PS3.

I've been looking at this one:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...02134&cm_re=cyberpower-_-42-102-134-_-Product

I've read something about needing a UPS with a true sine wave. With that said....the cyberpower only provides a "simiulated one."

Can someone recommend/give me suggestions?

With the amount of load your looking to put on your system your going to have to get (min 1300VA) 1500VA model. I would also look into business class UPS for the pure sinewave and longer battery runtime. I personally like APC (all I own) but others like cyberlink as well.

What is your budget for this? (based on the link I assume $250-$300) Are you okay with a refurbished model with brand new batteries?

I recommend looking at the guys from ExcessUPS on ebay. They sell refurbished business class UPS's with brand new batteries. These allow longer run times and have a true sine wave output. They also have a website but I prefer the ebay interface. http://www.excessups.com/

Here is one I would recommend

You can also look here as well for some refurbished UPS.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just purchased the APC IBM SMART UPS 1500 1500VA 1050W SUA1500 1500TLV

I should have done this a long time ago to product my equipment!
