Need to open pictures without extension

I got given a CD by someone a know who got it from a customer or something. Basically, these 3 pictures have no extension on them at all!

I tried adding every type of extension the GIMP supports but no luck, is there some trick I'm missing to this?

by adding extensions do you mean adding the extensions to the file itself, or are there plugins for GIMP taht allow you to open different file types and thats what your talking about? try just renaming to the file to currentfilename.jpg and opening them.

Alot of files have a plain text header that identifies it, so open them innotepad and see if there is information in the header that can help you to identify the file.

Have you tried to open them from within a graphics program? For example, you already have Photsoshop open and then try to open the file?
