need tiny bit of help trying to overclock

Gettin problem when im overclocking that my comp wont get past posting my cpu speed without countless numbers of reboots;

AMD AM2 Athlon 64 4200+ X2 Windsor - temp doesnt go over 35C when oc'd at 2.4ghz @ 219x11
Abit KN9-S Socket nF550 AM2
Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x512MB) timings at 5 - 5 - 5 - 18 can go to 5 - 5 - 5 - 12 but gives similar post screen mess ups

tried everything i can think of got it up to 2.5ghz at 10x250 with HTT set at 4x upped memory voltage to 2.1V and cpu to 1.4V got it boot up couple of times after lots of restarting but then it said CMOS failed and it keeps resetting to defaults. Gettin a bit annoyed need some advice please
 
Im pretty sure your ram can't handle the overclock, try putting a RAM divider in place to see if that helps.
