I'm currently looking for a relatively cheap motherboard (say, $30 - $45) as my Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P is broken and in for RMA (sent it on Friday, so it will probably take 4+ weeks until I get it back). I don't expect much from the motherboard (no OC or anything). The cheaper the better, as long as it runs fine. I don't have any plans for this board after I get my Gigabyte back (maybe using it to build a computer for my parents).

My specs are:
AMD Phenom II X4 940
G-Skill DDR-1066 4 GB
Sapphire HD4890
OCZ 700W PSU

I am currently looking at:
ECS Geforce6100PM-M2 AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135074
Is this enough for my needs?

Any suggestions? I'm also open to buying any working motherboards for cheap for those who have any AM2+ boards lying around.

if ya got a Fry's near you.. just go pick up a cheap ECS board.. you are better off buying it at a local store that has a 30 day return policy on motherboards.. just use it and then return it after for store credit and buy something useful later.. gigabytes rma is usually about 2-3 weeks at most..

meh i would by an asrock before i get an ecs. still need it to run stable until you get your gigabyte board back.

Unfortunately, no Fry's around here.

I checked the specs on ESC's website on the motherboard I linked above (after being redirected to an Asian porn site...freaky Taiwanese people) and apparently only CPUs up to 95W works (mine is 125). Can't find any other motherboards for under $50 with free shipping...so I guess I have to wait or buy a $70 board with free shipping (and probably sending it back for returns when I get my Gigabyte back).

well you could always buy a little nicer board.. and then when you get your gigabyte board back.. you could build your self a second system and run Folding@home on it.. :p
