Need Tech help pls:(

I have been running my cpu oced with no probs at all for a month now. I ran all tests and it made it through em just fine. Tonight the weirdest thing happend and now im screwed.
I was simply plugging in my headphones to be on teamspeak and suddenly when i did i heard all static and cracking through my speakers and my whole cpu froze up. I restarted right away and everything was fine but my mouse wouldnt work. I restarted again and everything was fine but my keyboard wouldnt work.
Then finally after i turned it all off for 10mins turned it on.. it all worked again. But and heres the big shitty part. I am an avid eq2 player and ever since this has happend i crash and get that weird static crap through my speakers after about 10 mins of being ingame.

I really need help in figuring whats wrong please someone help me..im going nuts, this computer is less then 2 months old and i spent a ton. btw all ocings are back to standard now.

PCI buss not locking? try putting PC back at stock and see if problems continue

pci bus wouldnt make a diff cause hes at stock right now

u have onboard sound or sound card

try the sound card in a different computer or a new sound card.

I think its the mobo.. ive tried sound card and video card in other cpu and they work so im off to get a new mobo... I think maybe it had issues to begin with and that was the straw the broke the camel's back hehe

are you getting it RMA'ed or are u just geting a whole new board?

Crashing ten minutes into a game sounds more like a heat issue than a mainboard issue. I'd check your temperatures and make sure things are adequately cooled first.

Have you run Memtest86 to check your RAM? Have you uninstalled and reinstalled EQ2? There's a number of things I'd try before blaming the mainboard at this point.
