I'm going to be updating my son's computer, but trying to stay within a reasonable budget too.

I have a 640mb 8800GTS and will get another one to run in SLI... this will be what the rest of the system is built around.

What I need is a good mobo/cpu recommendation, maybe a Q6600 since that seems to be popular, and a good mobo that was hot stuff a year ago (and now can be bought used for $100 or less).

Anyways, you get the idea. Suggestions/recommendations are much appreciated..
