Hi everyone,

I've got an ATi radeon X800XL 256MB AGP and i'd like to test a custom resolutoin. I know this question has probably been asked before, and I did do a web search, but I don't think it helped because my situation is a little different.

I think i've noticed some strange artifacts ONLY at the 1680x1050 resolution with my monitor and i'd like to test custom ones as close as I can get to 1680x1050. I don't want to drop to 1440x900 or go up to 1920x1200... I wanted to see if it does the same thing if the resolution is slightly different than 16x10.

I heard somewhere that in order to run a resolution on an ATi card, it needs to be divisible by 4 or 2 (I can't remember). Is that the sum of all X and Y pixels devided by 4, or just X and Y seperatly must be devisable? I heard PowerStrip can add custom resolutions, but I don't want to run that resolution at the desktop... I want to run it in a game.

I'm trying to get this res in a game like SWAT 4 (runs on the Unreal engine) which should allow any resolution, no matter what size or aspect ratio, as long as your card can support it... I tried a resolution that was devisable by 2 and it didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

-Thanks!
