I need your help guys.
Im building another rig. I'm giving the one on my sig to my little brother.

My budget is $4000.

Any suggestion?

(I already have a monitor, sound system, and Corsair Nautilus Water Cooling system)
Other than that, i must buy everything again.

i havnt kept track of any new hardwares for the last 11 months. that is why i made this post.
 
your current system looks pretty up to date to me, but this thread might do a little better in the general hardware section.

the only real upgrade from your current system could be:

2x 9800 GTX/GX2 (quad sli drivers are still horrible at the moment)

780i or even 790i mobo (790i needs ddr3)

Q9450 or even a QX9650 if you like the idea of spending that much on a proc...

4 or 8GB of ddr2 (8GB if you like your epeen, but only ddr2 if you don't get a 790i, ddr3 prices are heavily infalted at the moment)

maybe a couple of raptor X's in raid 0 for OS and a 1tb drive or 2 for storage (WD is coming out with some new 1.2tb drives soon because they managed to fit 320GB on one platter)

a nice modular PSU (not sure about these, never bought anything over 650W before)

a case of your choice, though for dual 9800 cards and watercooling you probably want something large like a thermaltake armor or a CM stacker, but you may also consider lian li or even silverstone, depending on your likes/dislikes.

otherwise, choices are up to you, on how much you spend on what etc, but can i just say, i would give a lot of things to be your little brother right now...

$400 4gb ddr3 - you have 4 large, we are going to ddr3 whether we like it or not.
$1100 2x 9800gx2 - why not?
$350 q9450 or if you get 9770 or 9650 you will have to go with 1x 9800gx2 or 2x 9800gtx
$350 790i - evga or any other ref board
$350 couple raptors
$400 couple 1tb 7200.11 or samsung
$250 decent lian li case
$ 70 couple samsung sh203n opti's
$250 decent 850w psu
$500 for display or watercooling

4k
 
dude, not that i was quoting prices or anything (Australian, hate working in US $, no offence) but he already siad he has a watercooling system, along with monitor and sound.
