Ok, so it's been several years since I've been on here and it has finally happened. My rig that I built in 2004 has finally met it's match, the rig is in my sig. I bought Battlefield 3 on release day and my compy won't run it. So, with Skyrim on the horizon I figure it's a good idea to do a new build.
Except, I've been out of the loop for a very long time. So, I need some help on an el cheapo build. Nothing fancy. Just something that will allow me to run BF3 and Skyrim nicely. I play mostly games and have for the past several years been playing Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas and nothing more. Neither of those games were that demanding.
So, here is what I'm looking for and would like some input and suggestions. I'm on a very tight budget so the cheapest the better. I also plan on reusing a lot of components from my current rig such as, memory sticks, possibly hard drives, and maybe the video card.
What I need help on is, a fairly decent but also fairly low priced motherboard that can run either a dual core or quad core proc and also, suggestions on procs. I'd be open to other suggestions but like I said, money is an issue.
So, can anyone help me out?
