Need Suggestions on a 40inch TV

I am looking to buy a 40inch tv. It doesn't have to be exactly 40, but 40 is preferred. I want to spend less then 2grand, size does not matter (it can be a projection). Thanks for any and all advice.
 
Samsung has just come out with a hot new family of "1080P" LCD-TVs.
Extremely high contrast ratios, brilliant colors, sleek-looking, smallest size is 40".
They make two versions of 40"; one a Deluxe model.

The LNT4061F, lowest price of the two 40's has awesome specs (I'd love it for gaming n' general websurf).
The deluxe 40" (LNT4065F) is pricey.

I'm very happy with my Sony Bravia 40'' 1080P LCD. It can be found under $2500 afik and it looks gorgeous.
