Need suggestions for upgrade

Hi guys, haven't been around here for a while but now that I have some cash to upgrade I need a little advice. I'm considering waiting for Conroe to launch next month to see how they compare to AMD's high end X2 processors like the 5000+ which seems to be coming out around the end of this month. Are there any benchmarks that compare, say, the E6700 (about $530) and the 5000+ (in the high $600's)? I'm all about bang for the buck but wouldn't mind spending some extra cash if the 5000+ were to smoke the E6700. Any ideas? :)
