Hey there...ok...I want to extract some songs from my CD's and either keep the info about the songs that are included on the CD (song name, artist, year, etc...) or grab them from the internet...any suggestions???

There's no information on the CD natively. If you are putting it in your PC to listen to and Media Player (for example) gives you the track name and artist and such it has already grabbed that from the internet.

There are a ton of apps out there that will rip the CD for you to MP3 and then also name the artist and tracks for you.

I use an old copy of Audio Catlyst from the Windows 2000 days.

An easy way is to just use Media Player 10, (if you haven't upgraded to it already) you can make it rip MP3's instead of the WMA it does by default and it'll do the naming for ya. Pretty fast too.

yeah, i use EAC.

Not trying to hijack or anything, but is there a way so that when you burn cd's, you can do the same thing wit the burnt disc????
