Need some Watercooling/Ram advice

I've just a couple of questions. I've decided to stick with my current 680i setup and I'm thinking about just maxing that setup out. I already have a QX6850 (can go as high as 4.2Ghz! :) ) twin raptors in RAID0 and 4GB Ballistix (4-4-4-12 2T). I was considering getting some OCZ Flex PC 9600 (1200Mhz) DDR2 as 1200Mhz is the fastest my 680i m/b can use. Considering the Ram I currently use, is it foolish to "upgrade" to PC 9600? I believe the timings are 5-5-5-15 2T. I'm hoping the looser timings don't negate the extra 400Mhz in rated speed. Secondly, I currently have 2 loops- (1) loop cools (2) 8800GTX's & my NB & the other one just cools my CPU. If I do get the PC 9600 I would definitely watercool it. So would it be best to put the OCZ in the same loop with my CPU or the other loop?

Thanks for your help. "H" rox

Why bother? You won't see any performance difference.

run 1:1 with low latancy's and your good to go.

Just put some active cooling on them, it's cheaper, less of a hassle, and cooling the RAM results in unnecessary heat dump and restriction in your loop for rather minimal if not nonexistent gains.

I wouldn't bother water cooling my RAM, as it is right now. However, I'm well aware that water cooling any FRU can be an end all by itself, and without any justifications\excuses needed. Depending on the CPU block (low or high restriction), how the RAM is plumbed (any pics of how this works?) and the type of pump used, I'd slap the RAM in downstream of my CPU. As long as there's enough surface in your RAD you shouldn't even notice a difference in temps, and if you do it'll be minimal.
