Need some Vista Help please

Ok so I have Vista Home Premium 64bit and everytime my monitor goes blank forget what you call that sorry, been a long day, I have to control alt delete and it messes up things like some of the OCing i do (GPU) and messes up when i'm testing the stability of my Processer. Is it my mobo? I wouldn't think so b/c it's all OS stuff... any help would be nice. But you know like when you leave your computer for a bit and the screen goes black and you're monitor goes to sleep and you move your mouse or hit something on your keyboard well when i do that it just makes the monitor wake up but to get the screen to come back with the actually stuff on the computer i have to cntrl alt delete.
 
Sounds like a driver issue. Your drivers aren't restoring the OC after going into sleep mode.
