Need some upgrade advice

Ok currently i have a 3200+ Clawhammer(bought in jan 2004) and am looking to upgrade to a 939 3000+ venice so here is my current setup and what i want to upgrade to

What i have
S754 3200+ clawhammer(not overclocked)
Albatron K8X800 Pro2
Corsair XMS PC3200 1024MB
ATI 9800XT 256MB AGP

What i want to get
S939 Venice 3000+
Asrock Dual SATA with AGP and PCI-Express
and keep my corsair ram
ATI 9800XT 256MB AGP

so my question is will i see a drop in performance? or an increase? i know i can probably OC it to 2.0Ghz, so can anyone help me with the cons and pros of doing this upgrade?

you won't get better performance until you bring it past 2ghz. why not oc the clawhammer you have now? a better video card is what you should really be looking for

because the mobo i have doesnt OC very well(because there is no HT multiplier or at least i cant find one)

You wouldn't be upgrading that much and risk a low overclock. I wouldn't do it.

yeah, save your money and wait for M2, then go a bit more hardcore. it'll make you a lot happier

I agree since ur pc is still in good shape. wait a bit to see how M2 does ^^

dogbyte_13 IMO thats not a good upgrade. To make it worth it you will have to get a new GPU.
