First off, I would like to know what I should get to O/C my xp 3000+ I want to get something quiet...My cpu runs @ 45-47C during a heavy load....doom 3...rendering in maya... ;) Also, my computer feels like it eminates heat...I have a Radeon 9800 Pro and a raid 0 array of 4 disks, but the disks are being cooled... What else could it be and what should I get and why, If you could recommend a northbridge heatsink or cooler as well that would be great.
 
Well 45 to 47 aren't too bad under load. And yes your computer does generate heat, that is to be expected. :D

We need some more info from you in order to be able to help. What kinda cpu heat sink you using now? What kinda motherboard? The Vantec "IceBerq" is a good notherbridge cooler if you really want one but unless you have a pretty heavy overclock, the northbridge should be fine.
 
if you can, sell the 3000+ and get a 2600+ mobile.. theres sick overclockability in that.. and use the money you save to get a thermalright slk or there heat piped one
