I've not actually looked at full computer components in a while... I built myself a BOSS machine not too long ago, and I bought an Scythe SCINF-1000 120mm CPU Cooler and was using it to cool my e6600 C2Duo...
Now, the case I put this CPU cooler in, it didn't quite agree with the side fan. (I bought the XCLIO A380BK, with the two 250mm fans... one on the side, and one on the front.) So, I had to do some case magic to the side fan to get the door to close. The Scythe INF-1000 is about 5-6 inches tall... It's HUGE.
After a few months of proper functionality, the case's side fan started rubbing against the plastic and I had to unplug the side fan completely.
SO - after all that explination - I'm now getting a new case (Antec 900, most likely). So I would like some recommendations on good CPU coolers to replace my Scythe INF-1000, so it'll actually fit within my new case.
