i currently have a 9700pro and i want to get a new card b/c it's dying...

these are my two choices, 9600XT AIW or the 9800 Pro normal/AIW ...

which of the two would be better...?
 
go for the 9800 pro, the MSI RX9800 is pretty much guaranteed to have the R360 core so it's basically a 9800XT with less memory
 
9800 is superior in gaming, get that one if gaming is a priority. :)
 
9800 pro, any day of the week. Not a huge step up from the 9700 but better than the step down you'll take with the 9600.
