So, I'm trying to piece together a water cooling setup for my system, I just have a few questions on components. I have been searching around the net find a clear answer, but that seems to be impossible almost.
I know I want to use the Danger Den TDX for Multicore Intel 775
And I know I am gonna need at least a Dual 120mm Rad ( I already have a single 120mm rad from a previous setup, so I find I need more I can always throw it in.)
I am also gonna be using the Danger Den DD12v-5 pump or the Swiftech equiv, since they are the same pump if I understand correctly. I was just wanting to know if I should go with the Danger Den Ione or the EK 8800gt full coverage water blocks, and what radiator I should go with, I've checked out the Black Ice GTX, the PA-120.2 and the swiftech and I cant find a clear winner, all I know is that the PA's are notorious for having a bunch of flux in them. So any opinions would be much appreciated. Also I have to stick a 2x120 rad because im stuffing this all inside a Lian Li PC-7 Again thanks for the input.
for the Record the System specs are.
Q6600, Abit IP-35 Pro, 4gb Dominator Ram, Xfx 8800gt Alpha dog, 2x 250gb WD hdds on RAID 0 and I think thats about it. Anything Else just ask, and Im hoping to get my q6600 in the 3.6 to 3.8 range ( I have high hopes. ;) )
 
Ok, you want to cool a Q6600 and an 8800GT?

Forget the TDX, man. That thing is ancient by today's standards. Unless you already have a TDX, and yes it'll work fine just not as good as some of the newer blocks, pick up a D-Tek Fuzion CPU block with the Quad Core nozzle kit, or a Swiftech Apogee GT or GTX. They ought to do better than the TDX on a Quad.

The Black Ice series has pretty much fallen out of favor because they require so much airflow to be effective. The Swiftech QuietPower series are fairly inexpensive and do far better with quiet, lower flow fans. The PA's do better, but they cost 2x+ as much, sometimes 3x as much. Unless you don't mind a lot of nose from high flow fans, stay away from the Black Ice rads, and unless you have a /huge/ budget, stay away from the PAs.

You're going to want to use your 1x120 rad you have now /and/ a 2x120, as the Quad and the 8800GT dump a lot of heat.

Is the DD 12v-5 you're referring to a Liang D5? I know Swiftech also sells the Liangs rebranded, I believe as MCP655s. They're good pumps - they flow a lot of water, have good head pressure, and they're pretty quiet. Don't pay a premium for the "Vario" version, as they're quiet enough going full-tilt.

Shameless plug, but I've got a good bit of stuff for sale at the moment -- pretty much everything save for a GPU block for you. Check my FS thread, PM me, and maybe we can work out a deal.
 
The TDX I am talking about is the one specifiacally for the Multi-Core It actually has a similar copper pillar design as the D-Tek, but just over the core so it looks like it will flow better than the D-Tek and perform better than the Original TDX,but I do like the look of the acrylic top.

Yes, the pump is a Liang D5, rebranded.

Also, I was asking for a suggestion on the GPU Block, as I cannot find anyone who reviews the Danger Den IONE and the EK block for the 8800gt, this is pretty important because I will prolly do the volt mod to it and flash the bios to an SSC.

Also thanks for the tip on the Swiftech Rad though.
