hey guys, i need some info on how to set up partitions on my hard drive.

currently my hard drive is a seagate 80gb sata and is currently divided in half (50/50)

but i was just wondering does installing games and all the programs on the main partition (where windows is installed) slow down windows. shall i change the partitions like this:

SEAGATE 80GB SATA

10GB MAIN PARTITION FOR WINDOWS
50GB SECONDRY PARTITION FOR GAMES AND PROGRAMS
20GB THIRD PARTITION FOR BACKUPS

^^^^^^if i do this will it improve in windows performance? is it better having games on a different partion? thx in advance :)

There's absolutely no perceptible difference, and I doubt that benchmarks would pick it up either.
