Keep in run a 1080P monitor. I will be upgrading to a nice IPS 16:10 monitor sometime late 2011/2012.
Anyone out there running 2X 570 GTX video cards in the sandwich position? What are your temperatures like and in what case?
At the end of the day I have 300 USD from selling the old card and GC's (80 BB and 50 Visa). The 570 alone isn't much of an upgrade (thermal/power is) and the 580 isn't worth the 150 extra. I'm in a P190 case and the CPU is on an H50.
Best Buy has the PNY for 350.
350 X 2 = 700 + 49(tax) = 740 - 250 = 490 for two 570 GTXs.
For discussion purposes I am still some what open to just getting 1.
Single PNY 570
350 + 24.50(tax) = 374.50 - 300 = 74.50 for a 570 GTX.
Crazy idea of keeping the 470 as a cuda card if I can keep it at lower clocks. Though this idea won't go far. I don't fold and I don't have any games that take advantage of this. Maybe 1 if I get Batman AA on sale in steam.
