I have a strange problem with my new build. I power it on, but it only stays on for about 5 seconds and then powers down. I can't even get into the BIOS. I have...

Athlon X2 4400+ (new)
eVGA 131-K8-NF44-AX motherboard (matx SLI - new)
GeForce 7800GT (from another build - confirmed working)
2 sticks 1GB OCZ platinum DDR 400 (from another build - confirmed working)
Ultra X2 550W Power supply (new)

I also have an X-Fi XtremeMusic (new), but I've since removed it from the PC to take that out of the equation. I've also removed one of the RAM sticks and tried booting with only one stick on DIMM slot 1. Nothing has worked so far.

I get no beeps. Can anyone give me any suggestions or take a guess as to which component is the problem? I'm a bit stumped at the moment. Thanks.

I cleared CMOS and now it works. Strange that I'd have to do that with a brand new mobo. Oh well, hopefully this will save someone else 30 minutes.
