Well, I after drifting through a bunch of rewviews and various recomendations, I'm still having trouble deciding what kind of PSU I should get, considering how much I'm looking for in a PSU.

Right now here is my most likely computer specs:
Case: NZXT Nemesis Elite
CPU: AMD 64 X2 6000+
Motherboard: Unsure right now, due mostly to Crossfire
GPU: HD 29000 XT (I'd like to leave the option open for Crossfire)
HDD: 1xSerial 500 GB Seagate 2x (120 + 40 GB) IDE HDD
Optical: 1x Serial DVD Burner Combo Drive (Sony)
RAM: 4 GB of Crucial Ballistix

Some other things:
Due to my heat solutions at home, it has to be on the cooler side, my current setup leaves much to desire in terms of heat. Also, if the PSU is modular it is a HUGE benefit for me, both for heat and showing off my case at LAN parties (with minimum cable clutter).

Sound: Gotta be quiet. I have some very picky family and with me going to college soon, I don't want to have listen to some weed-wacker going off whenever I turn on my computer in my dorm.

Price: Right now, I've got around 200$ for the PSU. I can give a little more, but I'd like to spend nothing more then around there.

Also, with me using HD 2900 XT (s), I hear that it has a 8 pin PCI-E connector, and yet I have seen very little, if any PSU's with this 8-pin connector.

Currently, I'm looking at this PSU from Thermaltake. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817153038

With the Silverstone, people are saying its a very big model, which would be very hard to get into my case. (NZXT Nemesis Elite)

and aren't PC Power and Cooling extremely loud? Which is something I'd really rather avoid.

I cannot speak from experience, but I've never heard anyone say they are loud.
Why woudl they be any different than any other power supply?

I was reading some reviews and they all said PC power and cooling was high quality, but was extremely loud at times. Even that one PSU forum with the tiers said that they were loud. I'm a tad skeptical in that regard.

Heck my current PSU is pretty damn silent now. (I believe its an Antec TruePower, but I could be wrong, I went through like 2 or 3 different PSUs when I originally bought my system because they were all low quality)

PCP&C's philosophy is basicly "cram in more guts, even if it doesn't need it. Got more room? cram in more. Then put in an 80mm screamer"
