I currently have a Silverstone GD02B-MT HTPC case with the rig in my signature in it. Lately, it's been getting too hot for comfort (it always ran hot though) and I'm having to back down the OC to keep it out of the 95C range.
The case, while beautiful, was never really intended for a gaming rig - it only has 2 80mm fans. Further, the CPU fan is blocked by not only the non-perforated rigidity support, but by a non-perforated top as well. There is literally zero fresh air being given to the CPU. Putting the top cover on causes load temps to raise by nearly 25C.
The solution I'm thinking of is to mod the case to fit a corsair H50. This will not only give the CPU fresh air, but contain the heat it puts out from the rest of the components as well (Which are currently baking). The only problem is that I'm not sure where to do it. Right now, the only thing that I can think of is cutting a rectangle in the support beam to pass the hoses through, and then mounting the radiator to the lid of the case and covering the hole with something like this:

Of course, the downside then is that I can't remove the lid without unmounting the radiator....
Any ideas? Below is pics of what I'm working with - keep in mind that the 8800 is usually a HD5770, but it's out for RMA. Also, this is usually kept in a Home Theater rack on it's own dedicated shelf with fresh air from all sides.
