So, my Dell S2409W arrived yesterday. I messed around with and just overall enjoyed it browsing on the web, watching 300(BluRay), played some MGS4, and some Bioshock(PC)
I tested for backlight bleeding and it's very minimal. Just a tiny bit at the top of the screen along the border of the bezel. Then I tested for dead/stuck pixels. I have one and it is annoying the sh*t out of me. I tried Jscreenfix and udpix. Nothing.
I am unclear as to what it is exactly. The colors that it does not show up on at all are black, red, and blue. The colors that it does show up on are, white, lime, and yellow.
On the white background the pixel appears red, on lime it appears to be, well sort of multi-colored, and on yellow it appears as black. And on these boards the grey areas it shows up as black as well.
Are there any solutions? I am very happy with my monitor. I like the colors and it performs very well for the price I paid for it.
Thanks in advance.
