Iam getting random bosd and windows has come up with the problem,it says my
4870 and microsoft . net framework 1.0 are not compatable and there is no solution at
this time. I have updated the card to the latest drivers. Can anyone advise me on a
fix for this. thank you.
 
Have you tried the latest versions of .net? I believe 2.0 or higher is needed for ATI cards.
 
+1 on the .net 2.0 and i would get 1.1 from like windows update first and all the updates for that then if you are using windows update the next option will be .net 3.5 which i found out has all of 2.0 including 2.0 service pacs along with 3.5 and service pac 1 for 3.5 which i think is why you don't see .net 2.0 after 1.1 anymore

the only reason why i say maybe 1.1 and all it's updates first is i had some strange issues with ccc and my card once when i just went for 2.0 on a clean install of xp. Have know idea why
