Hi

I just installed my x1950xt and the 3dmark scores seem crap

system:

2.65ghz venice
1 gb geil ram ddr400
dri lanparty nf4

check out the comparison between my old X800XL and the new card!

X800XL

2001se - 22889

2003 - 10691

2005 - 4973

1950 xt

2001se - 24769

2003 - 14778

2005 - 7922

Why on earth is there such a small difference?
 
Heres an example from the benchmarks thread -

AMD 64 2.4 ghz
ATI X1900XT @ 662/783

I'd say disable some devices or periphals and try again.
 
Also check settings in your bios and download new drivers from ATI website. Also OEM makers sometimes dum down cards. Instead of 256 bit bus they dumb it down to 128 to make it cheaper and use slower memory sometimes also. But I haven't seen any cards made like this for a while besides on the low end market.
