Hey guys, thinking of getting some sort of water cooling setup for summer. All I really need is something for my CPU, anything else is just gravy. Price and looks do matter. Have 1 5.25" drive bay to spare or all 3 of my 3" drive bays, otherwise it must be able to go on top of my case, have one 80mm exhaust on the top of my case (Have a Lian Li PC-65). Oh and an easy setup would be good too since this would be my first time using Water Cooling.

Been looking around, and it's hard to tell which ones look good when you just see stock photo's and such.

Questions that still need to be answered:
Budget?
Which preference: silence or cooling?
Are you willing to mod your case?
What socket is your cpu?
Does your mobo have mounting holes?
Are you willing to use parts not designed for watercooling and make them work?
Are you willing to put together everything yourself, or do you just want a simple kit?

Budget? Would like to keep it under $200
Which preference: silence or cooling? Silence, but better then aircooling, so a nice medium would be nice
Are you willing to mod your case? Don't really have the tools or the know-how to mod it.
What socket is your cpu? S939
Does your mobo have mounting holes? Have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Are you willing to use parts not designed for watercooling and make them work? If it looks good and works, then sure
Are you willing to put together everything yourself, or do you just want a simple kit? Either, first timer so whatever is simplier.

Experts of the Water World I also beg of your Awsome knowledge some of your wisdom and Expertise.

Budget? $100-250
Which preference: silence or cooling? 50-50 if doesn't sound like a jet taking off I can handle it.
Are you willing to mod your case? a blow hole here or there? Yes.
What socket is your cpu? Prescot 478
Does your mobo have mounting holes? I think so...It's an ASUS P4P800E-Deluxe.
Are you willing to use parts not designed for watercooling and make them work? Sure...if it doesn't take too much fabricating...I'm limited in my toolset.
Are you willing to put together everything yourself, or do you just want a simple kit? I Love putting things together. My computer is Complete built from scratch...wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the advice, next question cause it's hard to tell.

How do these kits look in a mid tower case? I love my PC-65 so don't plan on getting a full tower case, I mean is it extremely cramped?

I'll have to take some pics of my case tonight, would you guys mind helping me look for places to put this stuff. This is a big step for me so I want to make sure everything is going to work out.

So will have pics up in a few hours after I get home from work.

If you just want to cool the processor, a BlackIce Micro2 should fit well in that front intake without much modification, if any. Otherwise, Go with the Corsair kit since it comes with the RadBox and the PCI slot thingy to run the hoses into the case. That way, the rad just hangs neatly on the back of the case, and airflow inside is unimpeded.
