I need a little help finding a new monitor that can double as an hdtv.i currently own a Sceptre X20WG-Naga 20", it has given me no trouble but i am looking for something better because it will only display 720p and 480p, it give me an out of range error for 480i and 1080i.

I am looking for a monitor that is:
atleast 24"
1920x1200
1:1 pixel match
< 8ms
can display 480i/p, 720p and 1080i/p.
dvi, vga, hdmi, component
hdcp

I will be using it mostly to play games and to use maya and photoshop so the less ghosting, noise and color banding issues the better. I would like to keep it under $400 if i can but its not set in stone.

I am currently looking at:

Gateway FPD2485w 24", this one has it all, all the hooks up i need and then some, 1:1 pixel match, full adjustable stand, hdcp, pip and its S-PVA panel, its great except i have have read that it has horrible inverse ghosting, noise and color banding issues. Now that would normally stop me but Compusa.com currently has them refurbished for $299, if you use paypal you get $20 cash back and if i order by sunday night it will be shipped for free (but I have to pay tax, damn florida). Now i have heard that some of the displays show little to no issue and others are just hellish. Is it really that bad or is everyone just blowing it way out of proportion?

KDS k-2626mdhwb 26"
, this one only has 1 dvi and 1 vga but the dvi is hdcp so i can use a dvi to hdmi if i need and i have a transcoder to use vga for component. It is 26" which is huge, but i can find very little information on it. It has a few review on newegg and the specs. but i can not find out if it has 1:1 pixel match or if it will give me problems with 480i (some of those wii games are not 480p). i tried emailing them but they never got back to me, probably have to call and argue with a moron like you have to with sceprtre. Zipzoomfly just add it to there site but they are not in yet, but they have it listed for $350. which is a great price for a 26" monitor (its $419 at newegg) and the 24" monitor is getting good reviews. Does anyone have any experience with this monitor?

Does anyone know any other good ones that may fit the bill?

thanks
